Life Is What You Make It
So, Scott graduated from BYU's Marriott School of Management in April with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources. We thought full-time employment would be the next immediate step, but the economy thought otherwise. Bummer. But we've chosen to capitalize on the positives, like getting to spend tons of time together. We have loved it. Our little family typically goes on a 2-3 mile walk every morning. Some of our favorite walks have been on the Provo River Trail, going by the duck pond south of BYU campus, and on a street in South Provo where we think the houses are really cute. Olivia loves it no matter where we go! We've also been able to do some fun hikes. We've done "the Y" twice, Stewart Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and "the waterfall" (behind the Tanner's home in Centerville). I guess we have a thing for water falls. We bought a baby hiking backpack on Craigslist (our first Craiglist purchase), so Olivia comes with us and rides along like she is the queen of the world. As much as we hope for employment, we will very much miss this summer of 09.
