The Cabin Extravaganza
In August we went to Scott's family's cabin in Island Park for a whole week. What a joy it was to be away for a little bit. We had been gearing up for this trip all summer and it was Kevin who christened the trip "The Cabin Extravaganza". Mom Tanner and Annie made tee shirts for the event and surprised Michelle and Kevin with them when we got up there. Some highlights of the extravaganza include: jumping off the dock into the gloriously green lake when it was only 60 degrees outside; getting a nail in our tire on the way to church; visiting Michelle and Kevin's palace in Rexburg; the Fruity Pebbles Challenge (sick); our neighborhood cow and calf moose; tubing the river through Box Canyon; lots of yummy food; seeing Mesa Falls; jet skiing and tennis; watching "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" with Dad Tanner and Tony; and, of course, the joy of being with family.
